Breath and Soul Yoga is for people who want yoga that fits their life, nourishes their body, steadies their mind, and opens space for their soul. You don’t need fancy gear or perfect poses, just yourself, and the willingness to move, breathe, and grow beyond your limits.

It’s a practice rooted in breath, movement, and presence, designed to help you connect with your body in a way that feels supportive, not performative. There is no expectation to look a certain way or move a certain way, only an invitation to show up as you are and let the rest unfold.

Born from a background in dance and a lifelong relationship with movement, Breath & Soul Yoga blends intentional flow, embodied awareness, and mindful breathwork. It draws inspiration from the rhythms of everyday life, slowing down, rebuilding, and coming back home to yourself.

This is not about perfection or feeding the ego. It’s about listening inward, moving with intention, and creating space to feel more connected with your body.

About Summer

Summer is a Nashville native, a dancer at heart, and a firm believer in the power of movement, breath, and meaningful connection. She graduated from Belmont University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre and Dance.

Her journey into yoga grew naturally from her background in dance. Since 2013, yoga has been a grounding practice in her life, one that continues to deepen her understanding of breath, presence, and balance both on and off the mat. In April 2026, she completed her 200-hour teacher training through Shakti Yoga University and is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) through Yoga Alliance.

In addition to yoga, Summer has had the joy of teaching dance to both children and adults through the Global Education Center, where she has witnessed the confidence and freedom that movement can unlock in people of all ages.

Outside of teaching, she can often be found with her hands in the dirt at her gardening job, exploring nature, dancing somewhere around Nashville with friends, or spending time with her daughter.

Her approach to yoga is simple: it should feel welcoming, empowering, and real. No pressure to be perfect, just a space to breathe deeply, move intentionally, connect with yourself and be present.

She hopes this space finds you exactly when you need it and welcomes you to the mat whenever you're ready.
